There are a variety of weapons to use in the base game, though a few are unobtainable or rare. Currently, all weapons can be Uncapped except the Tengoku Weapons. Uncapped equipment counts as a different item in the shop (granting Funshots), and can be purchased separately from Tiers 1-4. Upgrading to +5 gives a great boost to Durability.

Uncapping: After reaching Tier 4 +4, equipment can be "Uncapped" and be upgraded to +5, and then all the way to +19. Jungle Machete -> Jungle Machete E -> Battle Machete -> Battle Machete E) Upgrading to a new Tier will grant Funshots, and there are 4 Tiers of equipment before Uncapping. Strengthening: Each weapon blueprint may be strengthened through R&D to +4, which then unlocks the next Tier of the equipment which can be raised to +4 again. Durability increases significantly upon Uncapping. Equipment found in the Tower of Barbs is almost always near-broken and doesn't last very long, making it a better long-term investment to use equipment bought from Choku-Funsha. If durability reaches zero, the item breaks and is destroyed. The attack value will also decrease as the durability decreases. Rage Moves also significantly decrease durability. In the case of weapons, durability will decrease as you deal damage or hit walls. Gear with a white bar will break on its own if equipped on a Fighter you've set up in TDM Defense or sent on an Expedition.

Getting familiar with the weapons and armor sets you find throughout the game is key in choosing the right weapon for the situation. No damage type is inherently superior, as it mostly depends on the resistances of enemy Armor to determine which type is the most effective. Every weapon deals a type of physical damage, and a few of them will deal split physical and elemental. Weapon Elements: There are six element damage types in Let It Die: three physical, and three elemental.
